2013 Haunted Houses & Pumpkin Patches

October 1 to 31,  2013  -  and others below

A festive month for family and friends

October is the month for kids and adults to dress up and be silly. It's also the start of our festive holiday season. It used to be that pumpkin patches were a place to go and get a pumpkin. Now they are more like entertainment centers with pumpkin carving contests, corn mazes, haunted houses, medieval fairs, apple bobbing, pumpkin hurling, and a lot more. Snohomish County probably leads to state with six such farms. Still there are others like Sequim and Bainbridge Island Gardens that have been doing it for years and have a traditional following. Wherever you decide to go, have a spooky, scary, and fun time.
