Seattle Macy's Day Parade

Friday November 29, 2013 -

Chances are it will rain - SO WHAT

You'll see giant balloons towering  over crowds, balloon floats winding though town, marching bands playing songs of the holiday, clowns to make the children laugh, and of course the ARRIVAL OF SANTA  CLAUS.

There is a 50% chance that it will rain. Don't be a sissy. Put on a hat and coat  and HAVE FUN. This is Seattle!!!  And if you are reading this early, this parade is staffed by people who are generous enough  to donate their time to make others happy. These are volunteers who create  or buy costrumes, practice, and take the long walk to see the joy on other people's faces.  Look into being a volunteer or participant in the parade. You'll be glad you did.
