Seafair Indian Days Pow Wow

July 19-21,  2012  - www.unitedindians.org

Experience Native American culture

If you live in North America you might want to see a little bit of your heritage. No better place to check it out than Seafair Indian Days Pow Wow. This is put on by the United Indians of All Tribes Foundation, so you're going to receive a sampling of most of the Pacific Northwest tribes.          You'll witness 400 to 600 dancers in full native dress, over 30 drum groups, traditional Indian chants and a lot more.

Since the Pacific Northwest Indians were primarily fishermen you'll have to try the salmon bake. After that you'll want to explore the 60 vendors that offer  jewelry, carvings, intricate beadwork, artwork, T-shirts and more.
