Queen Anne Fun Run & Kiddies Parade

Neighbors having fun together
What a great day on beautiful Queen Anne Hill. This is a run for anyone that wants some exercise. They avoid the real steep hills by circling the hill. Everyone is welcome. There was plenty of time to get to the Queen Anne Kiddies Parade. I got a kick out of the young Superman that was upset that the parade started 10 minutes late. At the end of the parade there was a neighborhood picnic with music and games. An excellent way to get to know your neighbors and meet new friends. On top of all that, stores have a charming sidewalk sale.
Time: Start 4:45am - 7:30am
Location:204 miles starts at UW Husky Stadium- ends at Holladay Park in northeast Portland
Cost: Free to watch - entry fee to participate

* The Crown of Queen Anne Fun Run has been a fund raiser for Queen Anne Helpline since 1985. Your participation not only gets you in shape and a t-shirt, but helps people in need. It's the right thing to do. The Queen Anne Chamber helps with this event also.
